Halloween II

The films poster has low key lighting which comes from the background. The background is very dark and gloomy and shows thunder and rain which connotates horror, shock and terror, therefore it creates an impression that the film is likely to have a connection with murder and some sort of terror and schock as you see the masked man holding a knife.

The poster shows a masked man holding a knife as if he is just about to stab someone which connotates that the movie involves death involving knives.

The camera shot used in this shot is medium shot to capture the thunder in the background along with the masked man holding a knife. The use of the thunder in the background shows that the movie is not glamorous and involves darkness as killing is involved in the film and all this links together to show that the film is a horror film.

The fonts of the poster are different as the font that says 'halloween II' is made up of fire to connote hell.
